Biovance Life Sciences Inc. Introduces Equine Prescription Diet with Revolution™

Biovance Life Sciences, Inc. has introduced a breakthrough in equine nutrition with the introduction of Revolution™ Equine Prescription Diet, a complete, low carbohydrate concentrate for all classes of horses. Revolution™ contains ReStore ™, the patented equine supplement that enhances digestive efficiency, and helps to maintain gastric motility, both important in the prevention of a number of common digestive distress syndromes in horses.

In the natural state, the grazing horse has a continuous supply of food for the bacterial action of the hindgut. However, under current husbandry practices, horses often consume a significant portion of their diet in the form of small grains eaten over a short period of time. This high carbohydrate load interrupts the natural digestive process by modifying intestinal pH, and interferes with optimum fermentation by upsetting the balance of sensitive bacterial populations in the hindgut.
